We are finally catching a break from the heat! I'll get my first sit in Friday evening if it doesn't pour rain, and I can't friggin wait. Not a fan of early season morning hunts, but Saturday might be an exception.

Some much needed treestand therapy is going to occur this evening. Let's see if I can finally connect with a deer.

-15 points for not having a bunch of stuff "you'll need later" collecting 6 years of dust.

You must be in Northern Missouri. Here in SE Missouri we are still dealing with extreme heat through next Tuesday or Wednesday!

SE Missouri? What part? One of the places we're looking at buying is in the Ellsinore area.

I am near Cape Girardeau. Ellsinore is nice. Near the Current and Black Rivers. Decent deer population from what I am told.

How you holding up over there? I understand what you guys are going through... I had to go through Hurricane Harvey last year here in texas. I know many people that were affected and still to this day some neighborhoods are just not the same while people are still rebuilding over a year later.
