That's about to change pretty quick.

The contest entry thread is going to start going apeshit and this thread is going to start getting 10-12 pages a day.

November is less than 3 1/2 days away. Redneck Christmas is upon us!

This doesn't have anything to do with being live from the stand, but one of my dogs just went out to take care of her business and as soon as she stepped outside she barked and ran back in.

Still being new to this place I grabbed my 10mm, thermal imager (both of which I keep handy) and went out to see what had her all upset.

There was a doe and a fawn feeding across the front yard 25 yards from the front door. They totally ignored the dogs barking and me standing there illuminated by two 1500 lumen entry lights.

They didn't consider any of us a threat.

I think I'm going to like it here.

We have some here now.. seen one in the road in front of our house not long ago. The thought "You should kill cook and eat this" never crossed my mind and never will..

The doe and fawns that are always behind our house have figured out the dogs can't get to them . They just look up and then continue to feed . Dogs are on an invisible fence .

An invisible fence might work with five of our dogs, but our Great Pyrenees would just charge through it.

We have to have a real fence.

14D5CD29-705D-46E1-AA11-13026CBF4EAD.jpeg Glad I decided to take the flashlight and shine around where I last saw her. Saw two sets of eyes staring at me. I don’t think they were planning on sharing with me. Two for two! Back at it in the morning
