    Quick update before the search continues. I was on the ground and my arrow may have deflected off a weed or something. When he ran off, the arrow was sticking out of his chest, pretty far forward. I'm on good blood but he has went pretty far. I in the middle of standing corn and I'm waiting on some help from my BIL as he is coming with better light. Wish me luck guys. I think I'm gonna need it

    Damn, good luck. If leg was straight there is a chance at front lobe of lung. Also some arteries running around in there with that broadhead flopping around.

    Was it mechanical or COC?

    I saw the first buck on my property about 30 minutes ago. I was set up on the northwest corner and he came in on the southwest corner.

    He was a beautiful 8 point. I'd guess him at 125 - 130. Unfortunately he never got closer than 50 yards.

    Still, I'm pretty jazzed to see this kind of traffic.

    What October lull?
