Nice to see something with horns up on his feet in the daylight.

You could get some mochi. Not Chinese, but Japanese, AND it is effectively ice cream.

Two does stood up from their beds in CRP about 50 yards away. Hoping they head this way for a drink in the creek behind me.

I'm in a tree stand sitting on a gas line...if ya know what I mean!

4 does went by. Following them was a doe and 2 fawns...which went completely around me 3 times for the past 90 minutes. They were never more than 35 yards away-just browsing.

In the blind this evening with my good luck charm! It’s hot, 80 degrees but the wind is perfect for this spot, gonna stick a big ol doe if I get the chance tonight. Good luck out there everybody!

Back on stand. I moved about 70 yards to put me in range of the movement I've been seeing and give me a better view of the property.

I won't shoot a doe even if I get a chance but if a buck gives me an opportunity I'll take it.

20 turkeys just went through and are now flying into the roost. No deer yet.

Been quiet so far. Feels great to be in a tree though.

Gun shots, definitely gun shots. Better be squirrel hunters or I am calling the game officer.
