That’s a wrap for today. No movement since early. What a beautiful morning to be in the woods though.

Went out to eat with the fam last night and the wife got food poisoned.. stayed up half the night with her praying to the porcelain gods. Side note.. dont think she will be dragging me in a chinee restaurant anytime soon :lmao2:

Might not have been the chinese food if it was indeed food related. Foodborne illnesses generaly take 36-48 hours for symptoms to start. If it was food, it was likely from 2-3 nights ago.

I'd wear a surgical mask for a few days just in case. Way too close to November for any of us to be taking chances.

I'm out and was slow. Checked my camera and have a nice 8 point that has been at my spot the last two nights and pretty consistent in the afternoons for over the past week. If that pattern stays the same there should be a dead 8 point tonight. :moose:

Not saying you don't have food poisoning now or in the past- but doesn't have to be an actual food poisoning to get your body "going". Can just not agree with you. Chinese food does that to me almost every time I eat it- sometimes within minutes. More than one time at a restaurant, I've had to drop cash on the table without even getting the bill and tell wifey "we have to go home, like NOW."

Pabst does the same thing too.

I got sick from non-distilled water in India, lady just washed veggies with tap water. Hit me about 6 hours after I ate it. Both ends almost non-stop for 2 and a half days. For about 12 hours of that I wanted to die. On the bright side, I lost 15lbs and it cleared up before my scheduled return flight, so I had that going for me. So if any of you or your kids are stressed about having to "make weight"; just get some Mexican or Indian tap water about 72 hours before weigh in.

gotta go wash the mud and blood out/off the truck, boys and girls. No hunting for me today, although it is killing me. I need to take care of the homestead before the wife says find another home, instead.

    good luck everyone

The summer seemed much more promising then what I’ve actually seen materialize since the opener in terms of numbers around here. Weird. This time last year I had legitimately 35 different bucks running around. I can’t get a deer over 4 or 130” in to save my freaking life this year. I mean I’m just hoping it gets better. Driving 135 miles by myself and sleeping in my car every weekend along with hunting every single day gets frustrating when it sucks. but at least I’m fortunate enough to be able to hunt. There’s a bright side to everything so I can’t complain too much. thanks for listening to my rant everyone. :))

Puking for 6-8 hours seems to be more than a disagreement with your food.. js
