Have to admit, for the first time since season started I am getting antsy to get in a tree.

Nice cool day, had a steady rain overnight. Would love to be staked out over a scrape as the sun came up.

Think I am pretty much all set, all I really have to get is some in the stand snacks. Already have my go to good luck snack/thirst quencher. Hasn't failed me yet.

Quick question, what type of spot should I hunt? I travel Corredor, A pinch point? One of 8000 Oak Grove?

I’ve never really hunted before a big storm.

Yes, but it’s nothing but green green and more green. The woods I hunt ate very thick with edges meet up of Mountain Laurel, and 6 foot princess Pines.

Gotcha. I'd lean towards the pitch point, but then again I don't really know what I'm talking about half the time.

Any pinch points on way to the oaks? Cold front with possible Noreaster...me thinks they might be feeding.

Safety Supv. Hmmm. Doesn't that usually end with:

    Lock it & tag it.

    Safety training, certification & gear.

    Its in the procedures...

    Lol.

Alright support group! The wife and I are taking off camping tomorrow morning till Sunday morning. I have to work till 4 today (from home), pack our gear, have a talk with my 16 year old daughter about coming to live with me since her mom just cant even anymore, and the closest spot for me to hunt I have left alone because I have a shooter in there I cant touch till November 10. Do I hunt it for a doe today? Do I hunt it for a doe today?! Aaaaaarrrrghhhh!

Think that could be said about most of us in here. We think we are smarter than the deer... but in reality a whitetail deer is smarter than a human most times

On the way to get myself a millennium m7 lite with the pro sticks. Hope to have it hung this afternoon but it is raining all day.

Go for the doe! Always a confidence booster having one down before chasing the bucks.

Well Wally world took longer than I thought it would, because around to my mom and dad! LOL dad is doing good and feeling better, now his opposite leg is really bothering him because that has about 30% blockage which he never paid to attention to before because the other leg was so bad.

My mom asked me how come I was not in school, and my dad asked me how come I was not out in the woods LOL my dad seems to think the pinch point would be the better option today, pinch point it is. The pinch point leads for my swap to some good beating ground, so what makes the most sense.Going to be sitting in a ground blind.
