    Do u shoot nanny doe with twins that still have spots(but fading) or is that just moraly and ethically wrong? You know if my family was on the verge of starvation i wouldn even ask the question but i was given the opportunity and the question came to mind

    It was very plain to see the father was a no gooder. He didn come to the meeting we had ther and still hasnt shown up. Word has it after he got ther mom prego he was off with all manner of other women and wasnt ther for her thru any of the pregnancie, or birth and has been a no show from day one. I just hate to see them loose ther mother too ya know?

    Best hunting times app said 4:00 to 7:30 is supposed to be good. Right at 4 a doe and fawn were headed my way, but they detoured because the neighbors cow came up.

    Yesterday I forgot my phone, but I had 3 really good opportunities in my stand on public land. First was a yearling doe, and then 2 does with no fawns. All were at 18 yards. Had a doe with twin fawns at 35 for about ten minutes. I let them all pass so I could go elk hunting this morning. Didn't see any, but I might have a better idea of what is going on with them now.

    Any lone doe or good buck is on the ticket tonight.

    Opening day here in Pa. Nice bucks are few on our farm this year but I'm headed out for a sit. Probably wont shoot a doe just yet.
