Just a reminded to check your arrows - attention to detail is important! This was a pretty easy one to catch but I pulled this arrow out and could have just as easily not noticed this!

Thick here they have been cutting corn all day across the road, apples still on the tree in front of me and quite a few tracks below. Settled in for the rest of the evening.

Just made a quick ground blind with the Ameristep throw down and some branches with leaves. Hunting a completely new area, never been ON this SGA before. Wish I had brought my climber but having never been here before I didn't know how trees would be or how far I'd walk. On a little bluff overlooking a two track where four corners come together... 3ag fields and one block of woods. Lots of rubs here I the bottom...I'm ready to

    KILL

If I don't tag out tonight I'm definitely hanging a stand here tomorrow for Nov 7 (next and last weekend I'm hunting MI)

Well, they fed on through without presenting a good shot angle. It's early. At least i have finally seen another deer. Last 4 sits on public land in MI have been a bust.

No way, a spot that I have signal in. I’m in a huge saddle and it looks great. Conditions are nice. One more week and the rut only crowd will be out. But that’s the best time of the year.[IMG]

Nothing so far except the cows that are in the pasture behind me cruising through. They were all right under stand for bout 5 mins.

Thanks joe :)... that’s weird honestly it must be the picture. I’m in my climber up decently high over a quad trail crossing where a few ridges convene. It does look kinda brushy but I actually have a good shot in multiple places. I guess pics can be deceiving; there’s a bunch of open holes I can punch through here.

I'm up.. awesome looking spot. A bobcat just strolled by. Can't get a pic of my spot till the sun drops a little.

Lots of oak but only a few trees with enough cover. Have been transplanting those small pines to other more suitable stand trees

I'm back out and settled in. Warmer than what I was hoping for but should be a nice evening. Kind of a weird wind direction tonight WSW, should work. Good luck to y'all. 15401588852728177067502655334725.jpg
