    Overall great morning. Saw some deer, included a definite shooter.
    Had another big bodied deer in a thicket, not sure if he bedded or gave me the slip.
    I stuck around until 1 hoping he would show, never did.
    Kicking back in the truck now trying to decide what to do for the afternoon

    Ready for this evenings action!

    On my walk in this morning there was some really soft ground which was not normal for that part of trail....checked it out on my walk out this morning ...Wow! There was a battle of epic proportions tha took place! At least 20-30 ft of ground dug up and shrubs just thrashed into pieces! Pretty cool! Maybe it was the 8 pt i saw in that area yesterday. Wish i could have seen this. I could have helped pick the winner?....loser? Im not sure....lol

    Deer are on their feet already in OH. Passed 3 different fields in the last few minutes where they were feeding. Get em guys!

    Just got set up in stand hung couple weeks ago. Came out early cause still need to fine tune it some. Still not right ha. Needs to be lowered down about 2 foot but other than that ready to go. Overlooking a field of turnips with wheat planted around the edge with creek directly behind me. Hopeing something comes out for dinner. Pretty blind to my right so they'll be on top of me before see them. [​IMG]

    Here's another perspective. If you were born with 300,000,000 you could spend 8000 dollars a day every day of your life for 100 years, and at the end of that life give 7,900,000 to your kids.

    On the days that I wish I had more money than I knew what to do with, I realize that if I knew what to do with my money I would have a lot more.

    I'm learning to be content with what I have, but still struggle to not waste my money on interest payments. Better this month than last though.

    With that said, I'm going to splurge and drive the 60 mile round trip up to the farm I get to hunt on. Still debating on rifle or bow though.
