I've been back at it for an hour and a half. All I've seen is one rabbit.

Just had a small 8 or 7 come in, walk right to my tree (Why do they always do that?), sniff around and wander off.

I got what should be great Tactacam footage.

    Velvet racks look so cool.

It is a little big but he will grow into it. It is a little heavy for him, that was the biggest challenge. But he was able to shoot it last night without any trouble. He will just have to be patient and wait it out. It was too good of a deal to pass up since it can be adjusted and he can grow with it for several years.

Not yet. It'll be a challenge for me to find him since I'm colorblind.

Reading this made me remember a video I saw on youtube awhile back. You ever hear of EnChroma glasses? Kinda pricey but I imagine they would be very useful to colorblind hunters.

I've heard of them but I've always been a little skeptical.

SHOOT HIM!...you've never shot a buck with bow?...no question, shoot him. Shoot a small buck - who cares. There is so much more to getting a buck than the shot. Once you've shot several bucks, then you can get more selective.

The legend, Chuck Adams, shot many deer in the hind end....none went over 100 yards.
