Those spots can be some of the best
I have 2.5 acres behind my house that is a great transition between two fields

Just had a porcupine come through. Never seen one this far south or from a stand for that matter. Pretty cool. As I was filming him a few turkeys pitched down about 40 yards away.

Heard a couple deer cruise through before light, great morning so far. Phones going back in pocket for awhile!

Did see anything last night but one of the guys I'm w/ killed a doe. In the 50's drizzly, and damp so I stayed close to camp, real close. 40 yards to the car, lol. The trail is well used and the fireplace covers my scent:-) hoping a doe strolls thru this morning. Good luck this morning. IMG_20181020_074601187.jpeg IMG_20181020_074612725.jpeg

Hunting a river bottom this morning that I scouted last year. Came in the dark and had no less than 10 turkeys fly off the roost directly above me. Luckily we have some high winds today that’ll dry my pants.

They are good for concealing your movement as well as your sight! I haven’t sat in mine in about 3 years? Good luck

I'm not a fan of ground blinds. I'll use them for Turkey hunting if I'm filming and that is it.
    I know what you mean.
