Don't feel bad if you do. I choked up a bit during my son's senior night. I knew it was the last time i would see him on the hometown football field. I still miss seeing him play. Excuse me while i step out to get this dust out of my eye!

Just got up in stand, slow goin gettin here. Jumped one and had another watch me from across the field. Hope that means they're moving tonight. Both were doe. Also told boss was taking off week of Nov 5th so hopefully that's good 7 days of hitting it hard.

Back at tonight. Only saw a little buck this morning. Hoping to catch them working over some acorns. Good luck to those who are out tonight. Great night to be in a tree.

Just had a doe come through. She was onto me hit my trail from earlier walking around trying to find buck sign. I still think one may come out of this creek bottom. That would be a mistake. I can only kill two does here so that would free up some temptation and allow to concentrate on bucks plus I’m likely to never hunt this area again.

Finally out of work and in a tree. Wind is a little swirly but it feels good to be out. Feels like a killing night. Plus found this in my car when I left. Kids are rooting for me.

Just had pretty cool encounter. Do and 2 fawns came in, doe and button buck. Must be getting soft in my old age cause just let them hang around. Doe gave me 4 or 5 syot opportunities but didnt take any. They hung around for about 15 mins and the little guys had some dinner then they went back the way they came. Been seein them pretty consistently in this stand, don't know how many more times let her walk by but today wasn't her day ha. Looked kinda ran down taking care of twins so probably not a bad idea anyway. One thing bout it musta did something right with scent control. They were down wind whole time and even looked up and never busted me. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

I'm in. Got up late due to the rain and to my struggles with getting my lock on set up. Climbers are so much easier!

Back on a piece of public that's closed to centerfire hunting since it is youth rifle here. Plenty of trails but not much else. Rubs and scrapes are still few and far between around here.

Congrats to those that killed today and good luck to those still trying![IMG]
