    I have been on the stand for about 45 minutes now. No wind, not a drop.. weird for Oklahoma. I rarely sit on this stand but the wind or lack thereof made it an easy decision. 20181017_172116.jpg

    All quiet here... would be my slowest sit to date. Wind is a little bit of a factor at 10 to 15 but I’m tucked in here near bedding between a ridge surprisingly not much action so far.

    My buddy just shot a buck he has been after in MD. It’s all we have talked about since July. He disappeared in August and popped back up on the 11th. Just called me breathing all hard... I’m jealous. No pass through told him to sit tight at least another 20. Tempted to start driving.[​IMG]

    I'm skipping this evening hunt, took care of some stuff around the house, gotta work in the morning, and then I'm gonna go check out a piece of public that I'll have to paddle to get to. Always wanted to paddle a big buck back out, maybe tomorrow will be my day!

    Have to cancel tomorrow's planned hunt. My dad went in for his angiogram today to have the stent put in at 1pm. (2nd attempt, I'm not happy with this Dr.) The doctor was back logged and wasn't able to operate on my dad until 5:30. Got out of surgery around 7. He has to lay flat for 6 hours. The doctor isn't sure if he will keep him overnight or not because of how late it will be when he can go home. Either way I do not want my mom driving home from the hospital at 1 in the morning. I'm going to drive up and give either her or bothe of them a ride home.
    Bright side is they were able to get the stent in.
