    I'm ready for Friday!!!! Actually decent temps here in Tx right now and it's killing me not to be in a stand. Today is a high of 63 and overcast with a north wind! ahhhh

    Coldest morning of the season tomorrow morning. Not a fan of the strong wind. Wonder if it will effect movement? Should I hunt a tight travel corridor or near a bucks bedding?

    Guarding this field edge, thick woods beside me. Neighbor says deer come out just about every day around 430. 2.5hrs to go and I definitely overdressed for the walk in. Oh well, let's see what happens.

    I've been trying to talk myself out of hunting tonight for a couple days now... I'm quite certain that I've lost the battle with myself and I'm going to head to the tree stand after work.

    Back up a tree on Kentucky public. The temps went the wrong way, which in turn caused the mosquitoes to re-energize. Hopefully this close to frost advisory tomorrow morning will take care of them!!

    If it was a week or so from now, I would say the wind doesn’t matter ... but I have never had luck with sustained winds like that this time of year... I’m curious what everyone else thinks

    Well, I'm going for broke. I've made arraignments to take off and go to Ohio the next couple days to see if I can teach this guy a lesson about hanging around my stand too much. I'll leave in the morning and get over there about 12 or 1300 and get every thing ready before they move for the evening. It wasn't the plan but since he's been showing up so frequently the last week, I gotta give a shot. Wish me luck brothers.
