Had to get out of tree, too windy. Sitting in the ground blind now. Had a doe and two fawns come through about a half hour ago.

Left the scouting around 4:30 due to family obligations. So far the river bottom had more sign than the ridge top. Unfortunately , it was flooding out its banks from yesterday’s rain so I couldn’t get it in there to sit for the evening. Oh well, I will be back when it is colder and not flooded. There looked to be some trees I can get into with my stand when the flooding is gone.

I'd hunt high. bucks bed up high and go down low at night, (where you see all the sign, it's made at night) thats where most hunters go wrong.

No luck for me guys. We followed occasional drops for 400 yards and then tracks/trails for another couple hundred until it turned into neighborhood. Crisscrossed and zig zagged all the way back to impact. I put out a ton of corn to try for pics of him tonight. I'll be back out searching early afternoon tomorrow. Sucks!!! IMAG0021.JPG

damn sorry to hear Josh, that is a sh!tty feeling, I've been there before. As cliche as this sounds, it happens, doesnt make it any easier though.
