    49 degrees.

Rare east wind @ 5 mph

To my west is a large embankment my wind is blowing into the side of.

To my north and south are bedding areas.

I’m set up in a nice funneling area in between it all. Never hunting this stand so should be interesting. I’ve been trying to bounce around a lot this year - so far I’m yet to see a buck while on stand

Out in stand I saw 4 little bucks Friday night. Don't really have time, but farmer is combining corn....sure gets deer moving. He's picking for a few hours because its Sunday. Beautiful weather here in SW Michigan.

Side note: I wish the "report" button was not directly above the "like" button. Any one on here have the ability to change the mobile layout?

First blood 60 yards from impact was decent. 200 yards from impact and I'm on the drops that haven't been washed off by rain. 20181014_163504.jpg 20181014_164807.jpg 20181014_164522.jpg

The hunt for blood red October! Best mid October in awhile as far as weather.

An old rub? I am still hunting/ scouting a ridge top. First sign I have seen if it is.

So far a 120 inch 8 point at 30 yards and a big nanny at 8. Wind is perfect. I’m wet but the deer are on their feet here in southern Ohio

I usually pick up a can or 2 every years. Not because I believe it works, but more as a cover scent. Especially on the calm days when your scent can pool up.

Really thinking about trying something like this though.

Have a couple dispensers already, if the nozzle will actually fit one of the brands of aerosol piss I'll definitely try it.
