    Logged in for the first time since Friday evening in the stand to find 500+ new posts on this thread. Thought about skipping them but glad I didn’t because it was a great read. Congrats Brett on a great buck!

    Never saw anything Friday evening. Other guy hunting public with me saw 5-6 and shot a buck. They were moving I was just in the wrong spot.

    Weather gets warmer again the next 2 days in the mid 80's for me. After this evenings hunt I wont get back out until the end of next week or the weekend.

    I sat this morning til 10. Didn't see anything. Think I'm probably done til the rut. Let things settle a bit. Well I take that back I am hunting at a buddies place next Sat afternoon. Hopefully take a doe. Good luck everyone.

    Haha yea when couldn't get foot loose visions of me falling with my leg still caught in fence and then really being stuck after hitting ground. They'll definitely be tucked in from here on out

    The NW wind is picking up ideal conditions, I could hunt without washing and ozone treating everything and forgo the shower but I won't.

    Passed a 125" 10pt. I had him around me for an hour grunting and chasing does like it was the peak of the rut. Drew on him 4 separate times and just ultimately concluded that he wasn't what I was looking to shoot. He will be a really good one next year, as I suspect he's a 3 year old.

    Not that young and need to rest more hit huge squat and deadlift numbers earlier in the week so legs weren’t in the best of shape.
