Pick my spot for my hang and hunt this weekend. Have never scouted either area. Beans are planted in ag fields. Everything to the right (west) is public land. Option 1 or 2, or somewhere else all together.

Gone two days and 15 pages later! Haven’t had much time to hunt due to work and kids soccer. Will be in NJ next week. Can’t wait. Kids will hunt Monday-Wednesday. Then my turn Thursday-Sunday. Really hoping Grace and James can each knock one down. I’ll be looking for antlers later in the week! Thanks for all the updates. See you out there.

I like option #1 if the wind is right for it. My move a little west from there to where the crops hit the corner of the woods and what looks like CRP. That looks like a good staging area.

Heading out to this stand after work. Conditions are all you could hope for a mid October hunt in Indiana.

    47 degrees
    Light Rain throughout
    Wind calm at NWN 5mph

Only thing that could be better is pressure is falling a tad - but no big deal. Went home during lunch and saw some deer in cut corn fields at Noon! It's the first cool temps the deer have seen this year. I'm excited.
