This season is not starting off well. My shot must have been higher than I thought. The arrow and vanes are covered in meat but not blood.

There was no blood to be found, but I am colorblind.

I'll wait for my brother to show up to be sure, but I know now that I didn't kill that doe.

Got up on me real quick. 20mph winds and soaking wet ground. She was trotting and ran right through my 5 yard opening and stopped at 20 and I didnt have a shot bc it was too thick.

He is a Marine. He eats things that would make a Billy goat puke.

Haha I dont have a diet plan during hunting season or a steady lifting routine most of my time is spent dreaming of a nice buck walking through the woods while studying topos and satellite imagery or making my wife happy that’s an important one too.

Surprisingly really quiet morning. Only saw 1 doe and she was way far away.

Same here littlechief. I must have hit high too. Meat on my arrow and no sign of blood anywhere. Frustrating. At least it seems the deer will survive.

Oh crap, I thought you were on a buck mission or something. You must see her again and quickly kill her!

Decided to stay in tree instead walking out and then back in
Over an hour from home so no going back and coming back so I’m the tree for the duration.

Saw 7 deer so far had a doe and two fawns come in behind me and stand directly under me
Too sharp of an angle for shot

    Good luck everyone!

According to the local weatherman, the front will be pushing through here tomorrow morning 7-9 ish, bringing a few light showers. I'm sick as a dog, I've been resting all day yesterday and today. Not sure if I should go out in the morning or afternoon, or both?
