Nothing here from me. Got rained on twice and pressure started dropping this evening even though it was rising this morning.

Heading out in the morning, still fighting my brain about where to sit. I'm telling myself to sit in the tree with minimal shooting lanes and favorable wind, or other stand with good views and possibly less favorable wind.
Or find a new tree in the darkness.

    That's the week I took, 2nd through 12th for a couple reasons.

Main reason is it is the new moon week, hate hunting the full moon and this year it works out perfect in timing. Another reason is if Charles Alsheimer's rutting moon theory has any legitimacy then this is the week to be out there for activity.

Lastly, it's November and you can't really pick a bad week

    Soon.....

Yeah, been wrapped up following this hurricane this past week.

I'd have never been able to pay attention out in a tree.

This cold snap has me seriously considering a Sunday sit this weekend. Leaves should start falling fast.

More big bucks are shot on November 7th than any day of the year...plan accordingly.

Made it back to truck then got busy around house. But overall was a good sit. Saw 3 while on stand, still dont know what caused them to blow out. I'm gonna say wind swirled to make myself feel better ha. Actually that's all i can come up with. Out of all times i was actually sittin still and not moving so not convinced they saw me. Also bumped a buck while getting into stand and on walk out there were 3 deer that saw in the cut corn/turnip field we have. And that actually gave some hope seeing as previously was avoiding the stands in that area because about 20 head of feeder calves has just been let loose in field last Saturday, so was good to see things are back to normal and they've calmed down enough deer are coming back.

Won't be out tomorrow most likely but looking to get out Friday night possibly and hopefully once or twice this weekend. Good luck guys

Columbia SC is taking it pretty good right now. Heavy off/on rain hitting Charlotte this morning. Y'all should have some weather midday to afternoon.
