Fri morning. Working all night and getting off at 5:00 a.m. and heading Into the Woods. I figure that temperature change and the winds from the North coming in should get some bucks on their feet.

Heading back to a stand. I have a buck on camera that I have never gotten a pic of. We will see if he makes a mistake. Will post a closeup of him later. Not huge but looks to be a 10+ point buck.

Yea i need to figure out when I'm taking off in Nov. Thinking maybe week of the 5th.

Well I'm out again today. These wind gust are increasing the pucker factor. And may have screwed myself before even getting to stand. 2 ways to get here and one is about half distance so was being lazy and went that way tonight. Had just got across the crick and about to hop the fence and look up to see a whitetail with antlers running opposite direction. Didn't look like one of the big boys I got and nothing says wouldn't have jumped him anyway. But that crossed that path off to get here for awhile. Still early tho so never know.

Back in a stand this evening... It’s a humid 74 but I’m here ahead of a massive cold front and it rained all day so time will tell...

Out in MN. 39°, 15mph and light rain. Set up in a funnel that leads to the neighbors cover crops (winter rye and radish).

I'm out in between three fields. 1 field to my west is planted with corn and the other 2 are green fields . I am in the general area that I killed my doe last year in .and in fact it was a year ago today.

I have seen a deer out in front of me (north) .

It's 80 + now, the farmer was chopping the corn and I believe that's why I saw the deer .

Can't shoot them from the couch unless your Tony.

    Here goes nothing

Well got set up in the climber on this public around 4:30, at 4:40 or so I had one blow at me from I would guess 100yds or so but its so thick I cant really tell. The wind shifted and is now blowing towards a potential bedding area so I am debating climbing out early to not ruin the spot but I dont know if I should just ride it out? 20181010_170736.jpeg

Are you seeing much buck movement on your cameras? My pics have been sparce, and it seems where the food is, the deer are staying close to them. I had 200 pics one day of a doe and her fawns eating cherries. They bedded right under the trees and stayed in sight all day. Hoping the cold gets them moving.
