Yea so far so good. Started off not seeing anything for 2 or 3 weeks then all of a sudden I can get a shot off every hunt at one.

I'm hoping to reach 3 deer in total this season. Last year was the first time for me to harvest 2 in a season! Way to go

Well its hot kinda but I'm in a tree. First sit here this year so not expecting much, stand needs some work, lanes cut and such. Shoulda checked it before but thats what early season is for.

May not see much but got my sitka gear on, Mathews bow hanging, grabbed cold drink out of yeti in back of Polaris, and checked the weather on my hunting watch and according to this article I just read im styling and profiling and thats all that matters.

Good luck anyone else and good job slugger, nice looking buck. From sound of it your freezer is bout full so we all expect a invite to the cookout ha

Congrats Slugger. Sure isn't optimum conditions but it was a very similar evening last year that worked out and it's been a week since I could get in a tree. Had to grab some camo light enough to sit in 84 degrees. My stand overlooks a 1 acre plot of buckwheat and winter peas, some leftover soybeans I didn't turn under, and a brassica/ oat mix. Wind isnt perfect into my face but close. Apple tree just in front of me is dropping also. Last time I sat here I saw 8 doe.

Quiet here so far. Besides a squirrel chewing out a ground hog about 20 ft from base of tree little over 30 mins ago

Nothing but the neighbors cat tonight. I did hear another neighbors dog barking, and he isn't usually out in the evening. Deer may have been trying to cross the road and got chased. Felt good to be out, try again later in the week.

Nothing tonight except coyote. Had to cut sit short cause its started raining and where had truck parked if woulda waited very long would have got stuck. The coyote I saw got a surprise tho. Must of circled around and started coming back as i was packing up. Walked out of little patch of trees where stand was and he was probably 40 yards from me. Never saw him but may have strolled by had still been in stand. Either way wasn't bad night. Gonna try and get out later this week. Temps will be down so hoping to start seeing some deer.
