I know it all to well! That was my hunt this morning. great spot, over cast, light wind, and absolutely nothing. I have been questioning myself why I hunt ever since I left the woods!

Stick with it. We all know that everything can change with just one hunt. I think I'm going change some things up and try out some public that I have scouted the last 4 years. Think it's time to hunt it for the first time and get a much needed change of scenery!

Thanks Bro! I know it can change in a split second, and just knowing there are giants in the area I'm in, keeps me going, and questioning my sanity at the same time! lol
Sounds like a solid plan for you to hit the public! Make it happen!

On the fence fellas help me out. Got another look on camera at this buck and might be bigger then I thought and he’s patterned. Same time from same direction in the morning. What do you think his age and score is?

FELLAS...RELAX. It's the dog days right now. My goal the next 2 weeks is to not mess up my good spots. You might not see many deer right now, BUT THE RUT IS COMING! Be careful to hunt the wind, don't let the big boys know you're on to them, cooler weather WILL come, and deer traffic will be on the rise. Be patient. For me in Michigan, I'm hunt sporadically until October 25th..ish. then game on. Until then, keep your hope up and keep practicing for the moment you've been waiting for.

Hot temps plus big time acorn drop=tough conditions to see deer moving.
