    I had a few this morning but even worse was the little No-seeums. Those little bastards had me for breakfast!
    AND those weirdos that deliberately try to fly in your eyes. What is up with that?!

    hahaha, yes they are very thick. Not seen mosquitoes deflect an arrow but I have seen a rain make one go low.

    Don't feel too bad- I grazed the same doe 2 nights in a row in the exact same spot form the same stand last season. Had her on camera later both evenings with zipper stripes down her side from the blades.

    Smoking clothes is my cheap way of the “scent control regimen “ it basically is using smoke from hardwood to attempt to mask human scent with a familiar scent of smoke (depending on your area). The hardwood type of smoke has carcinogens that eliminate bacteria aka human scent. Kind of like charcoal infused scent blocking camo.

    There’s a few good discussion threads in the forum related to it. When I’m near my computer I will pm you the link.

    No way to beat a deers nose though as we all know, the native Americans used to do it to mask their smell.
