    Ehh, I know, my dad tells me I'm crazy for going in so early. BUT, I remember going in at grey light as a kid with him and busting deer out every time. So going in this early, knock on wood...

    Wake up at 0230
    Leave the house by 0300
    travel time 1 hour= 0400
    prep time at the car 10 minutes=0410
    walk to the stand 45 minutes= 0455
    get setup/situated 10 minutes=0510
    legal shooting light is 0618
    sunrise 0652

    26 days until my first anticipated sit, barring some change at work.

    Gonna take all my remaining burger in Friday to be turned into snack sticks.

    Weather is such that I'm not even upset about not being able to get out. Should have a cool down coming pretty quick. I still have a few Sunday mornings to get a sit in if I so choose.

    Really need a good turn of the weather to get these leaves dropping. Seems to be getting later and later every year.

    A lot of people buy/shoot Bear bows (including myself). You don’t need to shoot a Hoyt or Mathews to “fit in.” The brand of bow you shoot does not make you a better archer.
