    Pitch black, super quiet out here. Just hoping to see some deer, maybe drill a doe.

    Yes anniversary weekend! Usually my wife never wants to do anything, but it’s been a few years since we went on any sort of vacation! So a nice weekend getaway was in order.
    She said we could go wherever I wanted, no further then 8 hours away. My choice because She always chooses. So I chose horseshoe curve in Altoona PA, to see some trains(my other hobby). Had a great time together.
    Unfortunately in Gallitzin we were 15 feet away from witnessing s kid on a bike get hit by a car that ran a stop sign. Kid was banged up good but no major head injury. Had to hang around for a few hours to give our statement to the PSP. The driver was a local old timer who owned half of the town and tried to blame the kid. We set the record straight!

    Congrats to everyone again! And thanks for the concerns! I should have let you all know I was going away for the weekend! My bad!
    I’ll be hitting the woods tomorrow for sure!

    Man I probably should have sat this morning out lol, got to bed around 11 and we woke up at 1:45 to drive to jersey. I am exhausted, would probably be asleep in the stand right now but... being the Shae guy I am I completely forgot to bring the seat so I have to stand/lean all morning lol

    No deer yet. Heard some Toms fly out of the roost above me, no sign of them yet either. 50 deg, too many mosquitoes still, been killing one at a time.
