    I’m at work. Hunting through you guys! Today is the Vermont Archery opener, but between kids soccer, sleep and work there will be no hunting for me. I get off at 0500 and will be in a tree shortly after for a morning sit. I have a decent 8 on camera or a doe(I will only take one a year off the 50 acres) that I’ll shoot. Should be a little drizzly in the AM, should be good!!!

    Man that was awesome guys!!! She only went 60 yards and dropped dead, big old doe down!!! I really didn’t think it would happen tonight based on the camera pull but she came out behind it

    Be very surprised if i see anything tonight. Just got up in tree after struggling since bout 230-300. Was getting ready at truck and buddy comes by saying he was getting ready to move cows down into corn field was gonna sit over tonight. So that eliminated 2 stands. Another stand have already has cows around it so that was out as well. So throw stuff in truck and was gonna head to stand just put up week or so ago in a wheat feild. Get climbed up and realize dont have a strap to strap in with harness at this stand yet. Get back up to shop and end up bs'ing with buddy and his dad till about 430-445 deciding screw it for the night. Drive back home and then decide to go back and get in stand sat in last night even tho wind isn't really right for this spot. But here I am, clouds moving in and temps dropping.


    And when rushed out of truck with only bow realized forgot orange vest in pack. So only got blaze orange hat right now. Good thing it's private land [​IMG]
