Great bucks gentleman! I’m chomping at the bit to get back into a stand! Rain all weekend and 80 degrees until Thursday when it turns to a high of 61. So until then I will be living through you guys!

Temps have dropped alot throughout the day with the rain. Hoping it lets up then I'll be up in tree around 3. Thinking of sitting in one of the stands over corn field.

Took my older boys out for a mid-morning squirrel hunt/deer scouting trip on a piece of public land. It got hot and the mosquitoes were terrible. Didn’t see any deer sign in the easier areas to access that we walked. The two more remote areas that I wanted to try were to far to hit with them in tow. Forecast is calling for a good cold front next weekend so hopefully I can hunt/scout one of those spots.

Found a dynamite spot about mile walk in. Stop at the bottom of my tree to cool down 5 min later couple deer took off 40 yds away I think they were bedding right there crazy. But I think this was more of a scout trip for me. I’m def in a doe bedding area which will come in handy in a couple weeks. Saw 2 scrapes and lots of rubs on the walk in ... and lots of poop.[IMG]

Taking the night off. Been out to the property the last 3 days. Give it some time to cool down out there.

Good luck to those getting out tonight!

Little oak grove on a ridge leading into a grass field. Few white oaks dropping. We shall see.[IMG]

Good luck to everyone out. I was tempted but wouldn’t have been able to get into my spot until like 4 and didn’t feel like traipsing through public land that late looking for a spot.
