Im terrible at this but if I had to guess I would think this could be a bedding area. where the red circle is.

Ive been holding onto a piece of wood for a coon mount for a few years. He climbed a tree at 10 yards so i said. What a good story.

Yes been a busy one. Barely got to check cameras all year. But got blessed with my earliest kill to date. So made it a great time.

Ouch!! I feel bad for you, I know that hurts. I did the exact same thing last year shooting my CB, only I just grazed my finger and it throbbed. I thought I was cut, it hurt so bad. CBs are no joke, and need to be handled carefully. I think we take a lot for granted with our experience, and let our guard down sometimes. Great reminder here. Hope you heal quickly!

Ouch! Heal up quick buddy, and try not to pick your nose too much. Your finger might get stuck up there. :)

Always harder to tell from 1000 feet up, but the circled area appears to be taller forest trees. Behind that area, looks to be a large area of scrubby secondary growth (bushes/small trees) that would be thick enough for a bedding area? If that's the case, I'd hunt the edge of that transition. jmo

Well today is the day. Finally gonna get out into a treestand. Wish could of yesterday but didn't work out. Little warmer out but had some rain this morning and some around lunch so we'll see what happens. Good luck anybody else heading out. I'm gonna try and be set up ready to go around 3 or so.

    Good luck to everyone tonight!

I just got setup. Only hunting about 80 yards from I95, so I get to listen to that mess all afternoon. But this spot is the best spot I could find in a hour hike. Got a fresh scrape 20 yards away in a oak flat with the ground completely turned over from deer eating acorns. Just not much poop hear. So let's see what happens!

Getting ready to go to take a stand at my farm watching 2 doe chomping browse 20 yards off my deck. A little cold front blew in here this morning. Hoping to catch a decent buck on his feet before it gets too dark. Pretty sure any doe will get a pass tonight.

That crossbow injury looks nasty. Good thing you were home when you did that.

Yuck... Steady mist all day and feels like 44 degrees here.

    Tonight should be good.

Hot one today. Gonna spend time with the family this weekend and hopefully hunt Monday morning.

Back at it. Had a little spike come in last time and as I was about to snap a pic to share a Mtn biker went by and out he went. Hoping the rain will keep tourist traffic out and the cooler temps will bring the natives out! Good luck to all.
