    I joined this page back in January and I'm not sure how but I just now found this thread. Between yesterday and today read all 109 pages. Wish I would have known about this thread when I shot my buck back on the 16th. (I posted it in a separate post a few days later.) Back to the woods this weekend in KY to take my 8 year old son crossbow hunting to hopefully get him his first deer!

    Yea this is the place to be during the season. Slows down in December but pretty active in Oct and Nov. Good luck getting your son his first deer

    Glad to have another SW Michigan hunter on here. These east winds are keeping me out of stands near my house. I teach a college course Tues and Thurs, so that's not helping either. Good luck to you and congrats to your wife.

    I once had to cough when I had 5 deer within 25 yards not one of them even flinched.. they just kept grazing...

    Since there hasn't been a kill posted today and I didn't know about this thread when I killed my buck the 16th here are a few pics of mine. Hoping to repeat this success this weekend with my son to get him his first deer.
