    just have to get through the last hour of the day!!! going to sit a brand new set tonight, excited to pull the camera on the way in, had some big ones on this farm. Hoping to be set up by 5:45 they are calling for thunderstorms tomorrow so hopefully some movement tonight! goodluck to anyone who is out shoot straight!

    Where did you get the ghillie suit? I have been thinking about picking one up to try and get a deer from the ground without a blind.

    I'm set up next to a corn field to my east and a pond to my south. What else Could a deer want on a warm October day .A drink then a meal.

    I'm on the west st sidof the field

    Wind is out of the South and 75 degrees

    Arcturus ghille suit green.

    Buried it in the mud and dirt for a few days, washed it off and used different shades of brown spray paint to tone it down a bit.

    Just got set up, have another hunter about 100 yards away saw a fawn in the hay field on the way in oh and there’s a guy training his bird dog about 200 yards away... we’ll see what happens!

    Should I go out? Strong wrong wind for any of my stands that I can hunt today and 80 degrees. Worth doing it anyway? Killed a buck a year ago today.

    I will call a halloween buck,couple years back on my opening day I wait till halloween my season was over in an hour and a half. I have passed on 8 pointers the last two halloweens.

    Well I’ll pay for being lazy this afternoon
    Was a branch that needed cut once I was settled into my tree from climbing tonight but decided not to trim wanted to help hide me well cause of it couldn’t get a shot at nice doe.

    I hear you! I was sitting in one of my newer trees, and there's one small branch that hangs down farther than it looked from the ground. It WILL be removed before my next sit, it drove me nuts.

    Cold front just moved through. Super windy, temps dropping by 10-20 degrees, and can see clear skies to the west.

    Tomorrow evening should be good for deer movement (can’t get out in the morning).
