I agree, they are crappy pics. I'm also getting the impression there's not a solid effort taking place, I hope I'm wrong.

If you're going out to kill a deer, any deer, you should make sure you have the follow-up time in the event you don't get a quick kill/recovery. To me, this is just proper hunting etiquette. No?

Ha. Ashamed of myself?? For my post??

Okay sincerely sorry - not getting into a back and forth on here with a complete stranger. Carry on with the recovery, photos and best of luck.

No sycamore, he was sarcastically saying that about the OP.

I couldn't tell - I thought he seemed pretty serious? Either way, I really didn't want to get anyone worked up.

I was just as bugged as any of you to have to leave the trail but my dad is a thousand miles away picking up a grain dryer from southern Wisconsin and our hired man was having trouble at home........
Anyway that last blood was bloody snow that had melted and froze again
Getting ahold of some buddies and hoping to do a grid search.........

Alright back on stand! Only a hour walk in 80 degree weather to work up a good sweat! This sit #3 and so far no deer this season. Hopefully that will change today

Well after scouting up and around that hill/ carrying my stand and bow, soaked in sweat, I decided to not hunt this evening. I literally hate that section of the farm. Very little deer sign and absolutely no buck sign. If only the wind would of been in my favor today so I could of hunter my good sets
