Ah gotcha! She took us to an Amish buffet, which was an interesting concept but the food of course was amazing Sent from my SM-G935R4 using Tapatalk
I got down, very slow. Even the squirrels weren't feeling it this morning Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
I got down about 45 minutes ago, hadn’t seen a deer since 735am. Saw 3 deer and two of which were decent bucks, back out this afternoon too see what happens! Good luck boys Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I'm heading out in about ten minutes to see if I can find my doe. It rained last night, so I'm anticipating a grid search unless Silky (my pup) is really good. By now any other deer hunters should be calling it a wrap. I just hope she stayed on public land. I was only about 200 yards from the WMA property line.
Im sorry most arent seeing much of anything this morning but makes me feel a little better about having to work! Planning to hit it tomorrow & hoping one of my hit listers comes for a visit! Sent from my SM-G935R4 using Tapatalk

I've been away for a couple weeks. No hunting in VT until this weekend. The deer, turkeys and bear all disappeared from my cameras three weeks ago. They are forgoing the plots and apples. So I am headed 1.5 miles back to the mature beech nut stands which are located by a natural spring, we've had a draught here. Will take me a couple hours to get in. Especially since it's 70 and muggy here today. Stripped down, no tshirt to walk in, it's all up hill. Never tried this. Wish me luck. Let you all know when I'm settled in. Good luck everyone else!
Well, Silky is going to need some work on blood tracking, but I found my doe about 25 yards from where I last saw her. The entr was "a little back" as they say on tv, not the exit was good. You can see the entry in the photo. Sent from my SM-S820L using Tapatalk
It's hot walking in today, but good wind in my favor as I work my way in. Came to the first really large beech nut tree and nuts all over the ground. Good sign. About a half mile in!
