Not live but back home now saw 4 wood ducks, a rabbit, and an army of squirrels. Bumped one deer on the way in never saw any others.
Opening day= walk in to the woods realized someone stole my climbing sticks. So instead of giving up setup on a creek edge across from a cornfield. Then a 120-130 inch buck walks by at 22 yards I guess 30 he bends like the exorcist there goes my arrow and the deer.

In my scary stand, as you can see, it’s a small platform, hopefully they come to my left. I’m kind of nervous standing in this thing, don’t mind the sweet kicks. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Forgot to mention, as I was leaving yesterday evening, I saw 6 deer up here, of course they were hanging out close to where I had a stand last year. Stupid deer Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Well, opening day in Iowa, but not going out because it is pouring rain. So instead I'll post my selfie from last week in Canada since I had no internet til I got back. Will get out there this week though! Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
First night in stand. Feels good. Already saw 2 does and I didn't even have my bow off the ground. It's a little warmer than I like. 70 degrees.
Well all settled into a ground blind on the edge of a food plot. Had plans of actually sitting on the edge of a small acorn grove but the wind was all wrong for that setup. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Ok so the story is I took my brother out hinting on one of the properties I have permission to hunt on. I set him up in a climber in some oak trees on one side of the property and I went to my regular stand on the otherside of the property. So what happen is three deer were coming in towards him from the west and got spooked by a couple Turkeys and went up and around. Lucky for me. I was getting ready to take a drink of coffee when I noticed a doe coming in behind me. She brought a couple of younger does with her. At 30 yards out shr was tucked in behind a tree but the little doe was broad side looking straight ahead. The larger doe was not movi g and looking right at me so I moved target to the smaller one broad side settled in right behind her should and let the arrow fly with a NAP Spitfire DoubleCross broad head 100 gr.
