Last afternoon sit today then one more morning sit tomorrow. That may be the end of my archery deer season until September. My daughter did harvest a BB and Doe on the trip! She was using a Bear Cruiser 55lb draw with Beman ICS arrows and G5 3 blade fixed broadhead . The BB was from a ground blind at 15yds. The Doe was from a ladder stand at 20yds.

Not hunting, but I took my boys to an AGFC family fishing day. We caught 7 trout and won about $150 in rods and tackle. My boys and wife were also interviewed by the local news for a story about the event.

I've been bored to death since my season ended. I could have hunted Arkansas until 28 February but I can't hike in on a broken foot, so I've been done for weeks and the stinking lakes have been frozen. Not today though. The boat is finally hooked up and in about 15 minutes I'm headed out on my first bass fishing outing of 2018.

Great to get a day off when it is nice and cold. Gonna walk in the woods for a few hours here today.

Congrats on a good season CM. You busted your butt.

Found some good buck sign in the area. Also found where three trails come together and leads uphill to the bedding. Not many trees but the one I picked seems to have some good concealment. Already looking forward to the hunt.
