There hasn't been much movement where I hunt in Central Arkansas either. Very hot and dry fall in Arkansas, really slowed down daylight movement.

Well, the season ended January 1st here in Michigan. I tried to shoot a doe, or hopefully a nice buck, the last couple of weeks, but I couldn't get it done with the bow. I ended the season with the one buck in WI. No matter how much I hunt, I wish I could have hunted more. Thanks for a great year "Live from the Stand". Merry CHRISTmas and a Happy New Year to all of you. For those of you lucky enough to hunt more - hit 'em hard. FYI - I spend about 2 minutes a page reading this forum. That equates to about 19.5 hours of reading about your experiences, stories of success, stories of "tough learning", and life. Much appreciation. Todd

I’m probably nuts to be hunting tonight but this might be my last chance so to hell with it! 32 degrees, 25-30 mph N wind, hunting from the ground with no blind... Throwing caution to the wind and getting in close to where a shooter has been frequenting lately. Here goes nothing!
Had a little half rack, a spike , and button buck come in pretty close but they picked me off sitting on the ground. That’s going to wrap up my 2017 season unfortunately. It’s been a fun last few months with the “Live from the Stand” crew. Definetly enjoyed following along with everyone’s seasons, all the ups and downs that this sport we love brings. Looking forward to next season and good luck to you guys that are still getting after it!

Out here scouting. I've nicknamed this place the Grid.....Trying to find a way in....just walked through the middle of it and ripped my self to shreds. Just need to find a travel pocket wider than 5 feet and I'll be golden . Lol. About a 50 acre tangled mess.
