Congrats to everybody that’s killed in the last few days. Our season ends Jan. 15 so it’s just about over. Going skiiing with the family next weekend but I’m off work this weekend so it will probably be my last chance to get out and try to kill a buck. Good luck to all you die-hards that are still after it!
My friend showed up to pick up the deer I shot for him this morning. I ended up skinning and quartering it for him while he watched to give him a good tutorial on how to do it. He really didn't have much of a clue. I could have let him do it and told him what to do, but I'd like to go to bed before midnight.
Less than 24 hours after I post that I'm already thinking to myself "what in the world am I going to do this weekend"? Maybe I'll hunt one more time since we do have one more weekend. Then again, Kentucky is looking really good the following weekend for it's last weekend. If only it would warm up enough for me to get after those bass.....
This is what will happen when Chief shows up at the local lake to fish...................... They just can't escape quick enough.....................
Yep! Something like that or maybe like these from the last couple of years. Hopefully bigger than these.
Or this one. While it's not a big one it's one of my favorite pics. My fingers were almost numb when I took this pic.
I'm more in to river fishing for flathead, but I caught this one out of our pond last summer. Sent from my SM-N900V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Nice. I'm always amazed at the difference in the color they have based on the water they come out of.
With the rut winding down yesterday evening I was sitting over a food plot. At prime time I had a good size hog step out she had 5 piglets with her. The closest she got was 45yds I drew back and 10 ringed her she ran just out of the field and tipped over. About 10 minutes later another sow comes in she had 11 piglets with her I drew back and blew her heart out she didn't make it out of the field. If your keeping count that would be a total of 18 Pigs that I saw yesterday evening and I only took out two. They are destroying our food plots. The first pig 175 lbs and the second was 130 lbs. This was the biggest one sorry for the poor pic.
