Thanks for the positive thoughts. I am far from giving up more like addicted. As for the doe she made her way into the neighboring property where I don’t have permission. I did take another look in the day light. Sadly I think some of you are right she won’t make it.
I saw a doe and a fawn about 200 yards out at 9:30. Nothing since then. I think it's time to get down.
I know, I'm a wuss! I'm still having one of those inner battles about going or not. I don't think I've ever been out in that kind of cold. We did score a great deal though.
2 hunts left in Ohio before going back to Minnesota , passed on a handful of does all week hoping a buck will step out , it’s down to I need to fill my tag, so Brown is down for tonight’s hunt and tomorrow night! Hope everyone is having safe holidays Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
FEB just said he checked the link and they showed Medium in stock so he ordered some. They're Out of Stock off and on, so if you refresh that page every so often, you might find them in stock at the 19.98 price and get a deal.
The hunting season end is closing fast. Get out in the woods! Never know what might walk by... Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
Forecast high temps over the next 3 days: 13, 7, and 8. I really don't know if I'm that crazy. Maybe I could stand a couple hours mid-day, but even that is going to be brutal especially if nothing is moving. Headed in soon, hoping they move before the deep freeze. Currently a balmy 32 degrees.
Balmy here too today and snowing. 12 degrees. Wonderful compared to my last 2 sits. Matt Compound bow Carbon arrows Fixed broadheads
6 turkeys so far. More than I've seen my last 4 sits. Matt Compound bow Carbon arrows Fixed broadheads
No luck tonight. I may pull my stand and move it one more time to try and get in better position for the big buck I have hanging around. He's been a no show lately, but so have all the does. I just haven't been there at the right time apparently or they haven't moved much. It is going to be quite cold this weekend. Anybody have suggestions/tips for hunting in 12 degree or lower temps?
I had to skip the afternoon hunt because I was feeling a little queasy. It takes a lot to stop me but I'm an absolute wuss when it comes to nausea. I'll go out in the morning, but I'm going to take my 45/70. I really want to see something with my new toy added onto it.
I missed that when we set this up. Cool I actually have a chance at winning something for the first time ever on the forum!
Hope to wake up to my first snow hunt of the year. Here is to hoping a big boy walks by. Probably down to my last hunt or so of the year as I work all week next week. Season ends the 6th Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
