Sounds like you may find her dead today not far from there, 6-8" of penetration in the shoulder of a doe got at least one lung if not part of the heart. Get out there and look?
January 1st is the last day for the late season big buck tourney. I am getting out on Saturday for maybe my last hunt of the season. How are we looking?.... Lady Forge LittleChief Ive been real busy the last couple of weeks so I may have missed some bucks. If I did I apologize.
Well, considering where I'm hunting there is absolutely no chance of me seeing a buck as big as He one Lady Forge killed, but I'll be out.
I’ll be out this Saturday for late season firearm doe season. I’ll have the ML. Season ends January 1st here so it will probably be my last sit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
if you hit that deer square in the shoulder the broadhead would've been lodged in the bone and most likely broke off. since the arrow with the head came out sounds like it wasn't in the shoulder as much as you think. might be worth one more look.
Man, I have no plans and I really wanted to go for a New Years deer, but -4 degrees doesn't sound like fun. Highs will be in the single digits. Our season goes to the 15th, so I'm still hoping to get out again. Good luck this weekend to those still after them!
Moved some cams to see if I can't zero in on daytime movement for last New Year's Eve sit. Matt Compound bow Carbon arrows Fixed broadheads

There was a discussion about Puffy/Late Season baselayers and one of the $129 Cabelas tops was on sale for $19.98, and I posted it to the thread and FEB was one of the people who bought one. It has since sold out: http://www.cabelas.com/product/cabe...4.uts?WT.ac=RI-2251434&WT.z_pg_ref=prd2246459 Here's a link to the discussion about late season baselayers: https://forums.bowhunting.com/threads/down-puffy-insulating-layers.91620/
