Believe me, I thought hard about it. Conditions are perfect. It's 27 degrees, very little wind and what wind there is is out of a perfect direction. Oh well. I keep telling myself that some things are more important than hunting. I haven't quite convinced myself yet, but I do keep telling myself that. :)

Merry Christmas everyone. No kids and single so I made it to my tree stand this morning. Conditions are perfect snow on the ground temps in the teens, no wind. I don’t have to pick my nephew up till 2 to go to his grandma’s (my mom). Still have a buck tag for firearm, it’s our alternative season here in Missouri. Of course I am out with my bow.

    Merry Christmas!

About to drive to the property for an evening hog hunt. Now to decide what to use: bow, 00 buck, or .30-.30. lol it may seem like blasphemy to use a gun on the bowhunting forums but I haven't fired a firearm at a hog in quite a long time (Christmas Eve 2 years ago). I've also never tried 00 buck. I'll be contemplating this, and what spot to sit my whole ride up

Merry Christmas everyone! Santa brought my boys some hunting action figures to play with when I can’t take them. So far it has been the most popular present.

Christmas dinner has begun. I now have nine of my fourteen grandchildren here along with their parents.

At the moment I'm hiding in the master bath for a short reprieve.

My wife got me a Tactacam 4.0 this year. Too bad my season is pretty much finished. Oh well.

I guess I should dive back into the fray.

    Merry Christmas folks. !!

Went with the .30-.30. Hard to say if my feeder is working but I have good sign in the area. Haven't been here in a couple of months.

Oh and I spooked a pack of hogs on the way in. They were like 15 yards from the trail and waited for me to pass before running away. Not sure if they saw me... ol just wait and see. Bumped them like 200 yards from my stand so hoping they won't think nothing of it.
