Have my last final of the semester today! Heading into it with a 98% average! Looking to get some woods therapy within the next week or so!
Last hour of the season. Nestled inside his bedroom with standing corn 50 yards on other side of creek. I wouldn't mind sending one more arrow at a deer. Tick tock.....
Well my fellow bow hunting friends! Im officially tagged out in Ky as of last night. Been a good season here for me shot 3 with a bow and one with muzzleloader. Last night had a doe fawn come in and gave me a 20yrd shot and she ran 25-30 and died! I can say thanks to this forum and everyones help i went from gut shooting the biggest buck of my life to havn a doe die within earshot and hear her crash! Been a very good season for me! Going to Mississippi on the 7th of January and will be there for a week, i wont be with my bow jus not able to so we will keep everyone posted from behind the M77 Ruger 25-06. Merry Christmas to everyone and Happy New Years and good luck to all that are in a tree still just keep at it. We all live for that one minute in time when it all comes together and we touch the trigger on the release Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Well fellows, I finally decided my foot hurt enough to go to the doctor. The verdict is a complete fracture of the fifth metatarsal in my left foot. I knew it hurt too much to just be a sprain but I was hoping and praying. Not sure what this means for the rest of the season but I am very hard to stop. If I can't hunt any more I can at least say that I've had one hell of a season.
That's for sure! Hopefully you have a speedy recovery. Blessings..........Pastorjim Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
Wow.....what a total quitter...Good thing your family doesnt really have to depend on you hunting for food....... LOL!!! JUST KIDDING!! Sounds kinda painful my friend. You have had one hell of a season for sure. I'd say rest yourself/heal (and the deer herd) up and enjoy the offseason!
Just got back home from 3 full day hunts and two 1/2 day hunts in Del Rio Texas. Must have hit it right after the rut, because we didn't see a lot of movement. I did however really enjoy being able to spend that much time hunting and taking in all of God's creation. Here's to doing some late season Texas hunting to get some more meat in the freezer. Good luck to everyone still hunting and God Bless. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
