    Well saw one doe at dusk. She probably weighed 50lbs. Passed alot of doe this year. Still grinding for a buck.

    In pretty sure I just barely grazed the bottom of his chest. I went back out and looked followed his footprints and found a couple tiny drops of blood. Then lost the trail after about 150 yards.

    Looks like you probably grazed his chest like you said. Lots of hair and it looks white.

    I'm on stand now still looking for my doe! The field edge where I went in is loaded with tracks. Just hope it's not all night time stuff, has to be something coming by here in day light with all the sign!.

    Well I was going to hunt this evening but it's about 70 out which is not so pleasant. Especially this late in the season. When temps drop again I will get back out there. Good luck to you guys out there.

    I agree with grazed brisket assessment. I did the same thing with a doe earlier the season. That deer made it.

    just got back from getting my buck officially scored for the p&y record book. now off to the taxi on Wednesday. boy 60 days takes forever. final score entered is 155 1/8". I was happy with that.
