I know I’ve been quiet this year but I’m leaving here in about 45 to pick Holt up and head to the shore. Chasing Sika tonight

Good luck today guys. I only saw 1 deer yesterday in 2 sits but the wind was really squirrelly. Family commitments today, and then back to the farm for a morning and afternoon tomorrow! Maybe I will get lucky???

All I've seen so far this morning is one squirrel. I'm going to be stubborn and sit until 11:00 since my camera has had doe traffic between 10:00 and 11:00 the past few days.

First morning of season here in Texas. Saw a doe but no shot available. Had to leave stand early do to kids sports. I will say any amount of time in the woods makes for a great day. Good luck to you guys out there. Stay safe.

I plan on it, but this morning is a bit disappointing after seeing around 20 deer yesterday afternoon.

I'd have gone back to that stand but I can't get to it for a morning sit without bumping the deer off the field.

I'll go back there this afternoon and the next doe that gives me a shot like that one did yesterday won't get a pass.

It's raining on us, I recovered the arrow with no blood on it, but some hair. Anyone tell me what these hairs mean?

I bumped a pretty nice buck heading in this morning, but I did manage to get my first wild turkey with the bow. Happy for that.

If the deer are moving they're moving somewhere else.

That'll do it for this sit.
