I sat until noon and didn't see a deer. Maybe they all froze to death or maybe I killed them all. Took a 2 hour break and now in a tree on a different property.
Good to hear he's ok at least but sheesh that's scary. Sent from my SM-G935V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
In the ground blind with my son for the last couple hours of daylight. Trying to get him his first with a crossbow. 48 degrees and a NW wind which is perfect for this set up. Hopefully, something moves in range. I still have an either sex and two doe tags left. I may shoot if he isn’t comfortable or if it is too far. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Settled into a blind.Dropped my younger brother of in a comfy tripod stand with a nice view. Bumped one little doe on the way in about 100 yards from the blind,it looks like the one that was with the doe I shot this morning. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I made it to the stand. Good Luck everyone! Sent from my SM-N900V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Oh my good Lord! I just had to watch a giant walk by because I don't have a buck tag. What a brute! I'm shaking like a leaf right now.
In the latest issue of OL there was a dude who said warm fronts are just as good as cold fronts...the last 4 days have had a high of around 40,right now it's 55 so if his theory is correct tonight should be a good night. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I wonder if squirrels make good decoys? Got one close enough to the blind I can almost grab it. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
got 4 cameras out today and going to set two more tomorrow now that the orange army is out of the woods. tons of new buck sign since I was there last.
Checked cameras today and everything is fully nocturnal around my house. Dropped minerals today and put out a feeder and hoping with it going very cold around and snow be able to draw in some daylight movement at the house Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
