Wife out of town and I have a sick kid.......no hunting. First light snow of year. Crap. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
Getting ready to split some wood now. I'll be out this afternoon. Sent from my SM-N900V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
No snow, cold NW wind blowing about 20°, second shot gun season starts today. Probably won't be a lot out as most those guys don't like to brave the cold. I'm staying inside. To many crazies out there taking sound shot & all that.
I’m stuck at work today. Hoping to get out next weekend. Good luck to those who are out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sicker than a dog with soar throat, shakes, fever, flu like crud etc..... 10 days left, have to do it. I'll rest when the season is over. Good luck to everyone. Hope your son feels better VS.
Last day before the snow covers the ground until April I think, so I made my way down to the foodplot and worked on expanding it a little bit by cutting some more brush. Great time of year for that. Good luck to everyone out there!
Back on stand, been a few weeks. Gun went out last weekend and muzzleloader started today. Brought the bow, haven't gun hunted all season and got 2 down. Figured if things are going good why change. Flurries been flying all day with light dusting. Good luck to all that are out Roll Tide Roll
Where O where did my motivation go? I should be in the woods. I must have left my late season drive in the tree because I got nothing. If you are out there grinding it out in the 20's right now, then good for you. Good luck guys. I wish I had the desire to be in the tree. I love hunting, but for whatever reason I just dont.
SO I woke up to a phone call from my mom at 6am saying my dad drove himself to the emergency room... for most ppl I would be like, ok but this is my dads 2nd trip to the hospital in 67 years so I figured it wasnt good. Rushed up there in time for them to tell me he had a heart attack and were transporting him to another hospital.. they blew up a couple of balloons and I guess ran a couple of stints? and he is fine now I guess. Said he should be going home in the next couple of days. Not how I thought today was gonna start.
In laws live about 30 min away and they looked worn out last week. Father in law been dealing with a lot of back pain. Not going to ask them. I should be able to get out a couple afternoons next week. Looking forward to it. Season is almost over.
Dang brother I am sorry to hear that. My dad is 70 and about 10 years ago he had a couple stints put in and he has been doing fine. I hope your dad makes a full recovery.
Thank you.. I think he is going to be ok (I hope anyway). Still gets me tho... guy has a heart attack last night around 9 and drives himself to the er this morning.. (the doctors were not happy he waited so long) The guy is tough for sure tho.
