    Truely amazing!!!! Heard noises behind me and since it’s still a little dark I couldn’t see more then about 10yds. The noise was getting closer and then I could see the outline of a deer walking straight to me. It stops about 5ft from my stand and starts attacking a sapling. I could see glimpses of his antlers as he fights this tree for about 5 min before it snaps. He then takes 2 steps and starts attacking my ladder stand for a few seconds. He then turns and walks away. My best guess is he was not a shooter for me. No matter what happens on this hunt it’s now worth every second. The experience was truly amazing!!!

    It’s all action here and only 20 min of shooting light!!! So a doe came in and Worked the broken sapling for what felt like forever. As she does this I see a deer about 50yds away walking through the woods. I want to get my bow ready just in case but don’t want to spook the doe. About 1 min later a buck walks out at 30yds and walks straight past my shooting lane and then 10s later another buck follows the same path. To my relive they were not shooters. I took a video of the doe on the sapling, this pic is from that video.

    We have been blown at twice. Wind is from the west, bad for a morning sit in this spot. Forecast said NE wind which would work.
