55 degrees overnight here. Which feels nice but not good for a downed deer. The mist coming off the river is both creepy and gorgeous. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
You probably have a permanent smell of blood on you. Are people wondering what in the world you've been doing?
So the blood trail just stops at that spot. Pushed at least another 600 yds in 3 directions. Gonna see if I can get permission to look at this thicket about 400 yrs across a road, about the only other possibility. Without a blood trail I probably should get permission first. Ugh. Plus it listed overnight and blood is harder to see, even the stuff we had marked. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

So the Orange trail is the blood trail. Shot it down at the bottom and it headed north towards the road and that creek. What looks like water next to it is actually a dry bend right now. Searched all of that over to the blue line which is a creek with water running down to the river. To the north of the Orange line is all high crp grass and we grid searched that last night and this AM. Only thing left is maybe he went north instead of following the creek bed and got across the road to that thicket. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
