    Been in the tree for almost an hour. I sat down to check in and got thru 4/5 post and I heard footsteps. Behind me, 4 doe caught me off guard. Turned my head and was picked off. So I waited 45 and know I finished reading and this post.

    26 degrees going to 40 today

    Bow season ended yesterday here, out with the shotgun today. Screwed up royally, forgot ammo. Had to drive30 mins back, then 30 minutes back, deer everywhere out in the field, 2 nice bucks right where I had planned to be tried to sneak around but everything ran out. Probably screwed my self out of a deer this am, but with all the deer pushing around maybe it'll be ok. Lead is flying in Iowa! Sounds like WWIII.
