This Saturday morning I will be taking my father in law duck hunting after that I will start preparing for the rut here in Alabama. Moving trail cameras and setting up stands on travel routes hunting food plots that holds a lot of does. It will be archery only for me this year but I may take my son's on some gun hunts. I have three different properties that I hunt 750 acre lease that is 3 miles from the house that I hunt the most. I have 40 acre that I live on that I mostly do some quick hunts on and I have a 300 acre farm that is about 40 miles away in another County. The rut seems to be a couple weeks later on the form then the lease beside my house. I'll try my best to keep the (Live from the tree) thread posted and up to date.

Come out a little early this morning , had to get ready and carry the wife Christmas shopping . No other deer seen this morning.
I'm guessing it's just the picture . To me ,a lot of deer seem larger in pictures , including ones I have shot . Regardless , that is a big deer .
