Heard something behind my stand so I turned my eyes and saw a 135 class 9 point at 25 yards, when he started walking again I moved my hand like 2 inches closer to my bow and bam,he picked me out and trotted off.

Probably wouldn't have have shot him as he was just a young deer but still pissed off.

Happy turkey day everyone!!!! I haven’t been able to get out lately, rifle season opens on Monday here so I will be out then, with the rifle since I can only hunt public land that’s way overpopulated with hunters... hopefully be back in jersey next Friday

Nothing moved here. But there's Turkey cooking at the warm comfy house! Have a good day all. I'm hunting all day Saturday.

Young deer? A 135 class buck here is probably a bare minimum 4 yrs old...probably 5. Very very few of them.

Happy Thanksgivings all! I am thankful I live in a country where I can enjoy my freedoms like hunting, and gorging myself on turkey and dressing! Prayers out to our service men and women away from home! It sucks not being home for holidays!

Spent the morning with a water filled boot. Creek was a touch deeper than I thought lol. Couple hour break to get the feeling back in my toes and back at it. Thankful for my very understanding wife that gave me the ok to be an hour and a half or so late for dinner at the in laws.

I ended up seeing 9 doe/fawns this morning and my dad saw a 4 point. I can’t believe all of those doe didn’t have a buck with them. It was my best hunt of the year and a very enjoyable morning. Now home to relax and have dinner with the family. Happy Thanksgiving everybody.
